NCC CADETS OF GCW UDHAMPUR ATTEND LECTURE ON TRANSFORMING DEFENCE SERVICES WITH AGNIPATH

The NCC Cadets of 2 J&K NCC Girls Bn of GCW Udhampur today attended an offline informational talk and discussion on 'Transforming Defence Services with Agnipath. The programme was conducted by Capt. Senthil Kumar, 639 EME Batallion was the resource person of today's event addressed the vibrant faces and said, "The Agnipath Scheme is taking India’s youth to play a crucial role in realising the dream of building an AatmaNirbhar, Sashakt Bharat. It is a unique opportunity to fulfil their dream of joining the Armed Forces & serving the Nation."
Prof. Monika Sharma, Principal GCW Udhampur congratulated the cadets and the ANO, Lt (Dr) Kamal Deep Kaur, the organizer of the event for making all necessary arrangements to conduct such an informative talk when it is in-vogue. Prof. Shalu Jasrotia , ANO coordinated the programme.
She said, "The scheme will not only empower, discipline & skill youth with military ethos in civil society but also improve battle preparedness suited to the changing dynamics." About 95 cadets from both 2 J&K NCC Girls Bn, Jammu and 1 J&K NCC Girls Bn Srinagar, attended the talk and participated actively in the discussion thereafter.
