ANTI-RAGGING WEEK CONCLUDES AT GCW, UDHAMPUR

Anti-ragging cell of GCW, Udhampur organizes valedictory function of one week long activities under the guidance of Professor Anjali Mahajan, Principal GCW, Udhampur and convener ship of Ms. Tania Akhtar in the College premises. A week long activities were organized in line with the aim to spread the awareness among the students regarding the menace of ragging and its consequences if someone is found indulge in it in the college campus.
During the weeklong celebration, various activities were organized including Orientation Program on the theme “SAY NO TO RAGGING”, Poster making competition, Slogan Writing competition and screening of Documentary on anti-ragging. On the concluding day, a skit was presented by the students of the college on the theme “STOP RAGGING”. The chief guest on the occasion was Prof. Anjali Mahajan, Principal GCW, Udhampur and the guest of honor was Dr. Seema Sharma, HOD Music. In all the activities, the students participated with great zeal and enthusisam. Earlier the program started with the formal welcome address presented by Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed, co-convener anti-ragging cell followed by reading the report on the weeklong activities by Ms. Tania Akhtar, convener Anti-ragging cell and the program ended with the formal vote of thanks presented by Ms. Pooja Bharti, member Anti-ragging cell.
