Students of GCW Udhampur performed in Outreach Programme held at Devika Ghat Udhampur
Students of Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur actively performed in folk culture in outreach programme organized by District Information centre, Udhampur on occasion of Baisakhi Festival (Mela) at Devika Ghat Udhampur on 15.04.2023.
Students of Department of Music sung various folk songs which were highly appreciated by the general public. Gojri song in the voice of Naseem Akhter filled the audiences with joy and the dogri songs made the audience fascinated. Besides a Punjabi folk dance was also performed by the students of the college.
District Information Officer Udhampur appreciated and congratulated the students of GCW Udhampur and Principal of the college for the wonderful and extravagant performance of the students. He announced that all the students who performed in the Public outreach programme will receive Certificate of appreciation from the DIC, Udhampur.
