Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement Cell of Govt College for Women, Udhampur organised a four-day Series of Seminars/Webinars on the theme “Educational Prospects after Graduation” underthe supervision of Prof. Jugal Kishore, Convenor, Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement (CCGP) Cell with a concluding webinar on the topic “Educational and Career Prospects after Graduation in Science". The series was organised via both offline as well as online mode. Prof (Dr) Monika Sharma, worthy Principal of the Collage was the chief guest. The series of Webinars/ Seminars was inaugurated by the Worthy principal of the College, Prof (Dr) Monika Sharma on 8th of June 2022 in offline mode with the first seminar on the topic “Competitive Exams after Graduation” delivered by Mr. Arun Gupta, Librarian, GCW, Udhampur. The second webinar was held on 11.06.2022 by Prof. Yash Paul Assistant Professor in History, GCW, Udhampur, on the topic “Educational Prospects after Graduation in Humanities" followed by third webinar on 13.06.2022 on the Topic “Educational and Career Prospects after Graduation” by Prof. Mohd. Qayoom, Assistant Professor in Economics, GCW, Parade. The event was concluded with the fourth and concluding webinar on the topic “Educational and Career Prospects after Graduation in Science"delivered by Dr. Raman Gupta, Sr. Assistant professor in Chemistry, GCET, Jammu today on 15.06.2022. Dr. Monika Sharma, Principal of the college, in her valedictory remarks congratulated the Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement Cell and students of the college for the successful completion of Series of Seminars/ Webinar and assured them for organising such event in future also to keep the students aware of the ever-changing educational prospects. Prof. Jugal Kishore, Convener, Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement (CCGP) Cell, presented a brief report of the entire series of Seminars/Webinars and thanked the chair and all the stakeholders for their continuous and unconditional support. In the whole series the different resource persons have touched a gamut of educational and career avenues available to the graduates in the current market scenario and students also responded actively in the interactive session wherein they cleared their queries. Students participated actively in the webinar under the leadership of Ms. Neesha, college student Council President.
