NCC CADETS OF GCW UDHAMPUR VISIT KARGIL WAR VETERAN

A total of 35 NCC cadets of Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur today visited Maj D P Singh (Kargil War Veteran) at Army Public School, Udhampur.
DP Singh interacted with the cadets and shared his war time experiences. Lt (Dr) Kamaldeep Kaur accompanied the cadets. The event was followed up by Wreth Laying ceremony, Presentation of Autobiography by Maj DP Singh, and Victory Run from R Centre to HQ Northern Command.
Prof. Minu Mahajan, Principal GCW Udhampur appreciated the efforts of the ANO and Cadets. She further added, "For as long as wars have been fought, great military leaders have been able to use the power of the pulpit to motivate the NCC cadets. The right words delivered in the right way at the right time have always helped to turn the tide when morale was suffering, and confidence was low."
