NCC CADETS OF GCW UDHAMPUR WITNESS AIR SHOW AT AIRFORCE STATION UDHAMPUR

In one of its first ever kind of endeavor, the NCC cadets of GCW Udhampur visited Air force Station on the occasion of 90th Air Force Day Celebration.
The students were shown different types of helicopters that the station operates with, namely Mi 17, Cheetak and Cheetah. The students were also acquainted with the specialized features of the different helicopters .Air force officials also interacted elaborately with the students.
After the air show, the Air Force officials spoke on the various options available to women for joining forces, the requisite qualification and physical standards that forces demand. The programme was coordinated by Lt (Dr) Kamaldeep Kaur. Almost 100 students both from 1&2 NCC Girls Bn attended the programme. Prof. Shallu Jasrotia also accompanied the students.
