GCW Udhampur organizes Slogan Writing Competition.
On 2nd Nov 2022, the Cyber Jagrukta Club of Govt. College For Women, Udhampur has
organized Slogan writing Competition on the theme “Cyber Safety” under the guidance and
supervision of worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Monika Sharma. The aim of the activity was to create
awareness among the students regarding cyber safety. As many as twenty one students
participated in the event. The students expressed their thoughts in a very creative way by means
of different slogans. The event was judged by Dr. Seema Sharma (H.O.D Music) and Dr.
Shaveta Sharma (H.O.D Political Science). Out of twenty one participants the Ist position was
bagged by Ms. Kritika Thakur of Sem-I, 2 nd position was bagged by Ms. Sargam Jamwal of Sem-
I and 3 rd position was bagged by Ms. Bevi Devi of Sem-III. The two participants Ms. Bhumika
Sharma of Sem-I and Ms. Sheetal Bhagat of Sem- I won the certificate of appreciation. The
event was organised by Ms. Sarika Mahajan (Assistant Prof. in Electronics) Nodal Officer, Mr.
Arun Gupta (Librarian), Mr. Paramjit Singh (HOD Computer Applications), Ms. Shallu Jasrotia
(Assistant Prof. in Music), Ms. Shama Rani (Assistant Prof. in Dogri) . The Principal of the
college Prof. (Dr.) Monika Sharma appreciated and motivated the participants and organizers of
the event.
