Webinar On Drug De-addiction Organized At GCW Udhampur

NCORD Cell, GCW Udhampur in collaboration with Psychology cell and 2 JK NCC Bn Girls, Jammu today organised a webinar on the topic "Substance Use Disorders- What young India needs to know" by Major (Dr) Tanmay Agrawal, Asst Prof, Dept of Psychiatry, Command Hospital Northern Command, Udhampur. A total of 80 NCC cadets and college students joined the webinar today and had an interactive session with the resource person. Prof. Monika Sharma, Principal GCW Udhampur encouraged the participants and said, "As the largest uniformed youth organization in the world, NCC can raise awareness, create a culture of fighting substance abuse and effectively guide the curiosity of young and vulnerable people in colleges and community." The entire event was coordinated by Lt (Dr) Kamal Deep Kaur, Nodal Officer NCORD Cell, GCW Udhampur.
